Sightseeing in Chicago

Beauty & Melody arrived in Chicago on September 14. Months and months of preparation for a concert at Harris Theater in Chicago unfortunately had to be canceled. This cancellation was disappointing, but we managed to keep ourselves busy and had fun.

We enjoyed the sightseeing of Chicago and a free concert of Chicago Symphony in Pilsen neighborhood. We drove to Elgin Community College for a workshop. With only a few days notice, the lecture room was practically filled with students and faculty!

I contacted a Milwaukee area Chinese community organization and asked if they would like to have us back. They responded immediately, so on Saturday, September 18th we drove to Milwaukee and performed a concert. They were thrilled to have us again.
