and a quick search on any subject will demonstrate what a wide variety of
materials exist. We hope these links will provide a starting point for teachers

National Geographic
National Geographic Kids has great games, photos, activities and more.
Smithsonian Magazine
The World is an hour-long, daily world news show, with music and more.
World Radio Network has a large list of stations worldwide that broadcast
online
The PBS broadcast schedule can be searched by day or by subject. It also allows
checking local broadcast schedules, and offers a newsletter for teachers.
African Music Encyclopedia has tons of info, and it has a phenomenal links page.
