Smithsonian Magazine

The World is an hour-long, daily world news show, with music and more.

World Radio Network has a large list of stations worldwide that broadcast online

The PBS broadcast schedule can be searched by day or by subject. It also allows checking local broadcast schedules, and offers a newsletter for teachers.

African Music Encyclopedia has tons of info, and it has a phenomenal links page.
